I think that Analytics are more likely to merge with UX first, I’ve even written an article about it https://link.medium.com/v8l0FFO5zib

Analysis will help UX to prove their worth, commercially, to a wider audience. This will help UX get a better budget and more respect from the C-Suite. It will help identify successes and failures, internally AND externally!
